Join our series of hands-on workshops designed to equip you with the tools and knowledge needed to effectively measure and enhance your impact.

Taught by research and evaluation team members at Susan Hirt Hagen CORE, the sessions are designed for the nonprofit professional and do not require a prior knowledge of statistics or program evaluation.

Workshop Fees, Location, and Registration

Training is provided at no cost to nonprofit organizations through a generous grant by the Erie Insurance Foundation.

All sessions will be held at the Federal House on the Penn State Behrend campus, located at 5343 Station Road, Erie, PA.

Parking permits and a campus mailed will be emailed prior to each session.

Attendance at all sessions is encouraged but not required. Light meals are provided.

Introduction to the Workshop Series

Prepare for the series by learning what we will cover and begin thinking about how to use what you will learn within your nonprofit.

Logic Model Development

Logic models are tools for planning, describing, managing, communicating, and evaluating a program or intervention.

June 10, 2026

5:00 – 6:30 pm

Outcome Measurements and Reporting

How can one measure the positive impact their program makes? Learn to create measurement tools that will accurately assess whether your activities, programs, etc. are achieving their intended results.

July 14, 2026

Quantitative Data Analysis Techniques

Learn how to examine the numerical data you have gathered to draw objective conclusions.

August 12, 2026

Qualitative Data Analysis Techniques

Learn how to interpret your non-numerical data to better understand the how and why of your organization’s impact, rather than measuring how much or how often.
